The Stand-in Wife's Revenge

Sinopsis Drama

"In her previous life, Eleanor Black married Gavin Whitmore, a promising military officer. They could have had a happy life, but everything changed after his elder brother died unexpectedly and his widowed sister-in-law Natalie was brought home. Her mother-in-law proposed that Gavin take both women as wives, which Eleanor firmly opposed. Later, Eleanor was framed for embezzling a huge amount of company funds and spent fifteen years in prison unjustly. After her release, she was diagnosed with infertility and could only adopt children. Under Gavin’s “affectionate” companionship, Eleanor spent the rest of her life working like a mere tool for the family. It was not until Christmas of the year she retired that Eleanor learned the whole truth: all her misfortunes had been carefully designed scams by Gavin and Natalie. On that snowy night, Eleanor was thrown out of the house and froze to death on the cold street. When she opened her eyes again, Eleanor had returned to the moment the nightmare began. This time, she was determined to rewrite her fate with her own hands. She secretly applied to join the nation’s top scientific research program, preparing to disappear completely seven days later. However, Gavin still wanted to control Eleanor’s life and even tried to make her take the blame for him. On the eve of her escape, Eleanor was thrown into the stable by her vicious mother-in-law. At the critical moment, she was rescued by Noah Baker. From then on, Eleanor Black no longer existed in this world; there was only “Academician Eleanor Becker,” who devoted her life to the country’s cutting-edge science and technology. When Eleanor returned home in glory, Gavin, released from prison, appeared again and tried to drag her into hell. But this time, he was facing an Eleanor who was far beyond his reach."
